About Us

My name is Justin Sampson. I am a Florida Native that has served in our US Military with the Army for six years. I spent 2 tours (years) in Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom. While in service I continued to pursue and further my education. I received a Bachelor’s degree in business administration through Troy University. While in the service I worked and went to training for electronics which has given me a better understanding of how electronics work. I was a previous smoker for 16 years and thought I would never quit because I have tried so many times before. I then heard about vaping and decided to give it a try, that day I realized that I was not the only one that wanted to quit this bad habit but until now I never found an alternative that could help. I am also big on family and community, having a large family with my amazing wife and six kids. This is a family-owned and operated business, working alongside my lovely wife that has helped and supported me since the beginning. I know the importance of trying to find a balance between enjoying life and making healthier choices for our generation and future generations.

 

 Vaping immediately had me put the cigarettes down and switch to strictly vaping and it has now been over 10 years since I have touched any traditional tobacco products. I knew this helped me so much that in just a few short months I decided to take my little savings from the military and start a Vape store to help others. This was early on, over 10 years ago, and have since watched the product and industry grow, evolve, and mature and have helped over 1,000 people switch off traditional tobacco products to vaping. I have always been passionate about finding ways to help others in need and this business and product has helped me and also allowed me to do the same for others that it has done to me. I truly care about each person’s health and will always try to do everything I can to help others.

 

 I established DownSouth Vapors in 2012 a few months after I switched from smoking to vaping. This is a family and vet-owned and operated business.  I started the business as strictly a vape shop that would cater to mainly help others switch over from traditional tobacco to vaping because I believed it could help others feel better like I personally did. This was very early on and pioneering a new kind of business in Saint Cloud took some time as I was the first Vape shop in St Cloud to open, with only 2 others currently open before me in the central Florida area. With my basic understanding and training with electronics in the military, I was able to learn and teach others early on exactly how to operate the devices and more importantly how the devices work and how to use them safely. I am someone that does not just sell the products only, I believe in the products I sell and use them personally. I also always believe that good quality products and good customer service are essential and always strive to help each person in any way I can.
